He fell in love with the new Decades collection that just arrived today – starring contemporary classic panto forms in International blue, Safran, Pastel grey and Opal. The shades come with gold-coated hinges and a light mirrored gold coating that matches the hinge.

Mark on stage

Last night we had a special guest straight from New York here in town for the Berlin Biennale: Mark Borthwick. He performed his music to an intimate circle of guests at the Grüner Salon of the Volksbühne. Watch him sing here:

CECILE refers to the quintessential ”intellectual” glasses from the 1920s and 1930s: the panto form. It celebrated its first comeback in the late 1960s as an expression of opposition to the traditional, conservative lifestyle.  For 2012 we have launched a renaissance of the round/oval-shaped classic, and put up new colour combinations. If you want to see The Rapture performing, check out their international tour dates. We will for sure be screaming out loud when they’ll rock Berlin on the 10th of may. Yay!

In 1954 Lino Lacedelli and Achille Compagnoni became the first men to conquer the second highest mountain in the world,  equipped with specially made down jackets by Moncler. A homage to the mountain and its conquerors was created in the form of the two sunglasses, LINO and ACHILLE, suitable for downhill runs and also as classic sunglasses for everyday use. Made from the polyamide-based material MYLON, developed and patented by MYKITA, the frames are very light, extremely durable and individually adjustable to the wearer.
