Happy 100th Birthday!

Our longstanding partner ZEISS is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. Instead of singing happy birthday, we decided to create a special frame for this occasion: the MYKITA FOR ZEISS 100 BIRTHDAY EDITION.

With these limited edition sunglasses, we offer our own interpretation and celebration of “100 years of precision lenses” at ZEISS. As most MYKITA sunglasses are equipped with ZEISS lenses, it made a lot of sense for both of us to team up for this project and to honour excellence and innovation together.

Model WYNTON with mirrored lenses for the MYKITA FOR ZEISS 100 BIRTHDAY EDITION

With a production limited to 100 numbered pieces, this exclusive model presents MYKITA’s classically shaped WYNTON frame in white, equipped with exclusively developed, deep-blue mirrored lenses, a colour combination that reflects ZEISS’ corporate colours.

Throughout this century, ZEISS has been present in many a historic event. For instance, the images from Apollo 11’s mission to the moon were taken using a ZEISS camera lens.
