MEET DAISUKÉ!

May we present: Our new modell DAISUKÉ ! We teamed up again with fashion designer Bernhard Willhelm to create this hybrid sunglasses form. The combination of a large visor with traditional elements from glasses makes the oversized form look more like a sportive headdress. Daisuké has just been presented at the Bernhard Willhelm SS2012/13 Men’s Fashion Show in Paris a few weeks ago. Here are some pic’s from the catwalk:

The Bernhard Willhelm collection for spring/summer 2013 is not easy to categorise: organic colours turn up alongside graphic and ornamental patterns; smiley faces, tigers and tulips all make an appearance on the fabric. Mixture rather than a consistent theme is the characteristic that is common throughout the collection.

DAISUKÉ’s frame is made from MYLON, an extremely light but very strong material that can be adjusted individually. The surface of the frame has been treated by various special processes, which gives the visor a unique visual and tactile appeal. The frame will be available in MYKITA shops and selected opticians in november.
